2nd half of property taxes are due Monday March 9, 2026
We will have extended office hours as follows:
Friday March 6 8:00am – 12:00pm
Monday March 9 8:00am – 6:00pm
According to state statute (32 V.S.A. §1674), any payment not received in the office or postmarked (USPS postmarks only) by Monday March 9, 2026 will be automatically subject to an 8% penalty and 1% interest per month or any part thereof.
There are several ways to pay your bill:
- Pay by Credit card, Debit card or E-Check by visiting our website at https://mendonvt.gov/payonline/ (there is a fee for this service)
- Place your payment in the secure gray mailbox in front of the building. It will be checked several times a day M-Th. Include your e-mail address if you’d like a receipt. No Cash Please
- Send a check or money order to: Town of Mendon 2282 US Route 4 Mendon, VT 05701
